ALMOND CHOCOLATE CHIP ENERGY BALLS

ALMOND CHOCOLATE CHIP ENERGY BALLS

YOUR NEW FAVORITE ENERGY BALLS … I know because they are mine.

It’s no secret that I love energy balls, granola balls, whatever you call them. They are a crave-able and satiating treat-like snack that I can’t recommend with more fondness. The flavors in this batch really excite me. I typically make my energy balls with vanilla extract but this time I worked my recipe around using almond extract. Oh, it worked out so well! I make tons of energy balls in my home and while I share lots of my recipes —Honey Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Balls, Sunflower Butter Energy Balls, Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Energy Balls, Chocolate Chip Almond Energy Balls —I don’t share all of them (I know, I make A TON!). So after making these, taking my first bite, and then watching all of the guys in my house demolish them, I knew I had to share this one.

Another note is that I approached the process in this recipe a little differently. Typically, I break down the oats and nuts into more of a powder before combining them to have a smoother ball. This time I combined all of the ingredients before blending them down to have a more textural ball—cause why not? They’re a huge hit—only great things to say here.
