When I think back to my nine-to-five days—like a thousand and one frickin’ moons ago—I like to think of my moments of freedom, my “me time” during the day. Travel aside—which on a rush hour train is more of a Darwinian competition of survival of the fittest than anything remotely enjoyable—there’s food and drink. Coffee break. Lunch.

Now that I’m working for myself, I imagine it’s makes a lot of sense that I would choose to focus on my favorite parts of the day, all day. And, I’m so excited to say that I have a great café/lunch spot in the middle of the hustle and bustle that will bring you joy and if you catch it outside of the lunch hour hustle a little bit of that oh so peaceful Danish hygge (pronounced hoog-ah).

With an incredible selection of both decadent dessert-like pastries and pastries you’d happily nibble  on with a cup of coffee AND a delicious selection of both open faced and enclosed sandwiches that don’t feel incredibly played out. I know you know what I’m talking about—it’s that sandwich or salad you think about every time it gets close to lunch and you’re not sure what you should get and don’t want to over think it or just flat out don’t know of other options available to you.
