MARGAUX
The one goes out to all my of my NYC based entrepreneurs who constantly find themselves working out of coffee shops, libraries, hotel lobbies, and even on their cell phones on the train. You're not alone. So, when I find a good place to work from, you know I'm going to share.
Now, maybe you know of The Marlton Hotel, but did you know that you can park yourself in their lobby work for hours? You can even order a light selection of bites and drinks to your seat. Better yet, You can have a lunch date. Just walk a mere a few feet over to Margaux Restaurant for no fuss, straightforward lunch (if you've lost track of time, don't worry, they're open for dinner too).
Pick at their smoked fish platter (screams my inner Jew). Order some of Chef Michael Reardon's delicious sandwiches—loved their Grilled Chicken with Pesto that had that perfect crunch. Speaking of crunch, the Fried Chicken Sandwich—need I say more? If you feel for something more composed, there are dishes where fish, steak, and mushrooms, are the star.
The point is that you can work from The Marlton lobby every day and have lots and lots of lunch options to keep from getting bored. Now, that's a place to park yourself.
