CLAW DADDY'S

I love a meal that becomes a dining experience. That’s what you’re in for when you go to Claw Daddy’s. It’s all about the Louisiana Boils. Yes, you can have sandwiches and seafood rolls and keep it more of a traditional meal or you can sip mixed cocktails out of CapriSun styled packaging while getting your hands dirty and ripping open the Claw Dadd'y special saucy seafood boil filled with crawfish, shrimp, clams, corn sausage and potatoes. A quick heads up. Everyone in my group said “I can handle heat” with a ton of machismo for a group of predominantly ladies. We ended up with going “medium” on the heat and all of us were breathing fire out of our noses and mouths. If I had to live it over again, I’d go mild. Food for thought.

If you’re thinking of a fun birthday meal for a group of say about ten people, this is your jam. With it’s hanging nets, rope light fixtures and twinkle lights, they’ve really hit the nail on the head with the humble seafood shack vibe. Maybe it’s the tinted windows, but when you’re inside, you certainly feel teleported out of the hectic nature of the city and into Montauk. You’ll wish you were in a bikini and flip flops. It’s awesome. Go have some fun with your food and take a momentary hiatus from the amazing city that we live in.
