EASTER CARROT YOGURT COVERED PRETZELS

CARROT PRETZELS, it’s what’s up, Doc.

I want to say “when I think about Easter” but if I’m being honest, the Jew in me doesn’t really think about Easter, like ever. That said, I had this moment where I was in a store and saw all of these cute egg and rabbit treats and it got me to really thinking about what we identify as “Easter-y”. Carrots really stuck with me. I think it’s because I eat carrots so regularly but then the plays on candy carrots adhered themselves to my brain.

I don’t often play with food coloring, but it’s really fun. A pretzel lover, I put those thoughts together and landed on yogurt covered pretzels that look like carrots. I’d never really made yogurt covered anything before researching for this recipe and FYI there is a lot of sugar used to yogurt cover. I was surprised but then again, it’s for a celebration, so who doesn’t love a little sweetness? Have fun and enjoy these!
