I’m just a girl in the (food) world.

Growing up in New York City in the early 90s, my food choices were… well, uninspired. Meals were just sustenance, not experiences. Sure, there was pizza and mac and cheese, but nobody was really playing with bold, dynamic flavors like they are now.

When I launched Coffee And Champagne, I knew absolutely nothing about cooking. Let me be clear: I. COULDN’T. COOK. My "skills" involved tossing a chicken breast in the oven, setting a timer, and hoping it was edible. But that wasn’t cooking—it was wishful thinking. So, I decided to dive in and learn from the best.

Thanks to a lot of courage (and the kindness of incredible mentors), I found myself in the kitchens of some of New York City’s top restaurants, learning from their executive chefs. I’ve been invited to dine at gorgeous spots, attended exclusive tastings, and traveled the world to explore how food culture changes outside of Manhattan. Each experience has shaped me.

Now, I don’t just cook—I create.
