I DARE YOU TO TAPPAS THIS!

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m very much so a Miami-an. After being raised there for the past 13 years, I know a thing or two about croquettes. In fact, I know a whole lot. Which is why me telling you that Boqueria has some of the greatest mushroom croquettes of all time, is a big deal. Not to be dramatic or anything, but I think those little fried balls were heaven sent.

Fear not, there is definitely more to Executive Chef Marc Vidal's Boqueria than their creamy delicacies. Being one of the prettiest looking restaurants you’ll be walking by when strolling through the Garment District is another sweet bonus. With their tapas and other Spanish inspired dishes, it’s quite easy to daze off and imagine yourself drinking wine near the Barcelona coast with each fresh breeze (or is that just me)?

Two words: Patatas Bravas (a must, if you ask me). Every single dish tasted like traditional family recipes that had been passed down from generations. Nothing tasted more classic than the Gambas Al Ajillo dish, which basically consisted of shrimp, garlic, and a ton of other mouth-watering flavors.

I can guarantee you won’t be leaving this place hungry, that’s for sure. Coming to Boqueria will be the most effortless decision you make all day. My only regret? Not ordering dessert, I hear a certain Nutella stuffed churros dish is simply too good to pass up.
